Malachie Kengne Njilo — background, training and approach

Malachie Kengne Njilo is a coach and the founder of MKN Coaching, in Nantes. He holds a Master’s degree (Master 2) in work and organizational psychology and, since 2023, has been supporting employees of European start-ups and multinationals as a mental health expert with Likenilo. He is a member of the International Association of Applied Psychology (IAAP).
His professional career began in 2012, when he obtained his diploma in physiotherapy. His interest in the links between the body, emotions and psychological health led him to deepen his work in psychosocial support: in 2015, he obtained the professional qualification certificate as a psychosocial counsellor from the Institut de formation aux professions de psychologie (INFOPSY) in Yaoundé. That same year, he founded the Fondation Santé Pour Tous (Health for All Foundation), which he led until 2022: a team of 32 health professionals, low-cost care for the most deprived, and mental health education to make psychological support accessible. In 2018, he obtained a professional bachelor’s degree in physiotherapy (licence professionnelle en kinésithérapie) from the Université de Douala. From 2018 to 2022, he worked as a sessional physiotherapist and psychotherapist at the medical and social centre of the French Embassy in Cameroon, serving the French expatriate community. This dual expertise allows him to approach each person as a whole: physical health, emotions, behaviour and social environment.
In 2019, Malachie Kengne Njilo began a master’s programme in work and organizational psychology at the Université de Yaoundé I, specialising in human resources management; in 2022, he defended a thesis on the impact of meaningful work on the engagement of security officers in Cameroon, available in the CAMES open archive. He works in particular on work-related stress, conflicts, loss of motivation, communication and work–life balance. Since 2023, he has been working as a mental health expert with Likenilo GmbH, a company created from the joint venture between Likeminded Care GmbH and Nilo Health GmbH.
In 2021, he completed 40 hours of training in psychotraumatology — EMDR level 1, suicide risk intervention and the H.E.A.R.T. model — with the Center for Trauma and Resiliency Studies at Divine Mercy University, in Arlington. This training deepened his understanding of psychological trauma and of resilience mechanisms. It also informs a complementary approach he calls mental programming, designed to help shift certain automatic patterns, limiting beliefs and thought patterns.
In France, he obtained the title of humanitarian programme coordinator (French level-7 professional title (RNCP), Institut Bioforce, class of 2022) and joined the Africa Desk of the French Red Cross (2023–2024), before devoting himself to MKN Coaching.
From these years spent between the practice, the clinic and the humanitarian field, he has kept one conviction: quality support should depend neither on the country, nor on the language, nor on anyone’s means. This is where SENSAÏ was born.
In 2023, Malachie Kengne Njilo began creating SENSAÏ to make life coaching more accessible, continuous and multilingual through artificial intelligence. SENSAÏ brings together SAM, an AI life coach, and the RDP (Relational Dynamics Profile), also called the Relationship Clarity Scan. The RDP is a psychometric relationship-clarity assessment made up of 72 items and 9 dimensions. It helps adults, single or in a couple, better understand their relational dynamics, their values, their communication and their habits in conflict, for a more fulfilling love life.
SENSAÏ and the RDP are tools for coaching, self-knowledge and decision support. They are neither medical devices nor psychological or clinical diagnostic tools, and they do not replace support from a healthcare professional.
A comprehensive, personalised approach
Life coaching and psychological well-being
I support people who want to manage their stress better, deal with the consequences of difficult experiences, improve their relationships, strengthen their self-esteem or regain confidence. My integrative approach takes into account each client’s personal, professional, relational and cultural situation.
I work with Likenilo GmbH, a company born from the joint venture between Likeminded Care GmbH and Nilo Health GmbH. Through its online platform, I support clients across Europe, including professionals from start-ups and international companies.
Each engagement is built on concrete goals and personalised strategies. Together, we identify the obstacles, the resources available and the next steps suited to your situation. Coaching does not replace medical or psychotherapeutic care when it is needed.
A culturally sensitive approach
My experiences of life, study and work in France and Cameroon have developed my understanding of cultural differences. This intercultural perspective allows me to adapt my support to each person’s history, values, reference points and identity. The aim is to offer personalised, respectful and relevant coaching, particularly for people living in an international or multicultural context.
What I offer today, in France
In France, where I live and work, I practise as a coach. I use neither the title of psychologist nor that of psychotherapist, and I do not practise physiotherapy: these professions are regulated there, and my diplomas were obtained in Cameroon. My anti-stress massage is a non-therapeutic well-being massage. When your situation calls for care, I refer you to a healthcare professional.
“Malachie’s mental programming sessions have been life-changing for me. I never heard of that therapy before and I was really amazed with the results.
